Where: Hickory Ridge Pines, Located on Hickory Ridge Road ~2.5 miles north of M-59 (Highland)
When: Saturday, Sept. 24 from 3:00-5:00p
What to bring: Each den has been assigned to bring a dish as follows:
Den 1 – hotdogs/buns
Den 5 – salads
Den 6 – sides
Den 8 – desserts
Den 2 – drinks
Den 3 – just yourselves!

Pinewood Derby 2011
Pinewood Derby time is almost upon us. We had a location change and the race and check-in will be at Creekside Elementary this year instead of Village Elementary.
Car check-in is from 6:00-8:00p on Friday, March 25.
Derby Day begins at 10:00a on Saturday, March 26.
We will have food available for purchase during the race.
All scouts that show up dressed properly in their Class A uniform will be entered in a raffle to win prizes.
During the tabulation of the final race results, scouts will have the chance to work on a belt loop in the gym. Please have your scout bring or wear a pair of sneakers.

Blue & Gold was a success, now onto Pinewood Derby!
Thanks to lots of hard work from many of our pack parents, our Blue & Gold banquet was a rousing success! We had the great photo below taken, which will be included in the CSA yearbook.
Now our attention turns to Pinewood Derby. Our next committee meeting will be on Tuesday, March 8. If you’d like to volunteer in any capacity to help with Pinewood Derby, please meet us in the CSA Art Room at 6:30p.
Pinewood Derby is coming…
Pinewood Derby will be here before you know it! Race day is Saturday, March 26th. Cars need to be turned in the day before, Friday, 3/25 at Village Elementary. You can download a copy of the Pinewood Derby Rules.
January Pack event – Saturday, 1/22
Please make plans to join us on Saturday, January 22 from 2:00-5:00p at Lakes Elementary in Hartland (at 687 Taylor Road). We will have our pack meeting indoors, then the boys will make sleds out of cardboard boxes for a competition. Snacks will be provided.

Pack Holiday Party 12/16
We’ll be holding our annual Holiday Party on Thursday, December 16th at 6:00p at Creekside Elementary. Watch your email for more details. Be sure to bring a canned good for our Gleaner’s food drive. Santa will be there to hand out small gifts to the scouts and to deliver their Pinewood Derby kits. Also, each den is assigned to bring a food item for our buffet.
Raingutter Regatta!
It’s almost time for the 2010 Raingutter Regatta! Boat kits were handed out at our October pack meeting. If you don’t have yours, please contact your den leader. Our event will be on Thursday, November 18th at 6:30pm at Creekside Elementary. The address for Creekside is: 3480 East St in Hartland.
